R.I.P. to Rey, the actual strong female character. Not a trope or a male power fantasy. There is not a single character in this film that isn't butchered, but the ritualistic relish with which Rey was degraded and turned into an empty vessel for male power fantasies is truly morbidly absorbing and downright revenge porny. I just can't.
